Left-handed Pencils

My parents, like most I assume, would ask us every year what we wanted for Christmas.

One year my brother replied, "Left-handed pencils."

I thought that was weird. Pencils don't care about your "handedness". They work the same whether you are left-handed or right-handed.

Or so I thought.

My parents, being who they are, were more open minded. They asked for him to explain.

He took a pencil and demonstrated it to us.  First, what it looks like to a right-hander:
